Release Blitz & Review - My Darling Arrow by Saffron A. Kent

Release Date: September 17

Darling Arrow,
I shouldn’t be writing this.
It’s not as if I’m ever going to send you this letter, and there are a million reasons why.
First of all, I was sent to this reform school as a punishment for a petty, totally inconsequential crime. Not to ogle the principal’s hot son around the campus.
Second of all, you’re a giant jerk. You’re arrogant and moody and so cold. Sometimes I think I shouldn’t even like you.
But strangely your coldness sets me on fire.
The way your athletic body moves on the soccer field, and the way your powerful thighs sprawl across that motorcycle of yours, make me go inappropriately breathless.
But that’s not the worst part.
The worst part is that you, Arrow Carlisle, are not only the principal’s hot son.
You also happen to be the love of my sister’s life.
And I really shouldn’t be thinking about my sister’s boyfriend, or rather fiancé (I overheard a conversation about the ring that I shouldn’t have).
Now if I can only stop writing you these meaningless letters that I’ll never send and you’ll never read…
Never yours,
Salem

Review

Read it, loved it and I am absolutely smitten with Arrow. *insert all the heart eyes*

I have read pretty much every book from Saffron A. Kent and love the characters and stories she creates. The protagonists are crazy in love with their men and the men are walking God’s who are very possessive of their women and I FLOVE it.

Salem and Arrow were no exception to this and I’m not mad about it. Not one bit. I know some people will tire of this formula but I never do because Kent always finds a way to make it different and her own. I really love and appreciate that all her protagonists have a unique quirk. In Salem’s case, she loves to wear cleats everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE. I would not ever dream of doing this. It sounds too painful, but Salem does, and she totally owns it and I love that at first Arrow gives her a hard time about it but then he just accepts it and never tries to change her or her ways.

Arrow is just perfect. Okay, no he’s not. He messes up A LOT and at times treats poor Salem like crap but I forgive him because he’s hot AF and I know on the inside he has a heart of gold. But no, seriously, he is an amazing guy. The fact that he's hot doesn’t make him a good person. I promise I know better but I sure do appreciate that in my book boyfriends. Lol

I refuse to go into details about the story because it’s best you just read this story for yourself but I definitely recommend it to all fans of Saffron’s work, especially if you loved Medicine Man. Arrow gives Simon a run for his money. Crazy, I know because Simon is freaking amazing but I promise you Arrow is just as amazing. ;) I also cannot recommend this book enough to all taboo lovers out there. You know who you are and I highly suggest you give My Darling Arrow a chance.

Overall, I give My Darling Arrow 5 stars and cannot wait for Kent’s next book as always! She is an amazing writer and I love and support everything she creates. Seriously, she’s so talented and I highly recommend her work. Especially, Medicine Man. It’s THE best! ;)
