Fallon and Dean are two characters whose story I needed from the moment three-year-old Fallon proposed to seventeen-year-old Dean in her parent's book, 'Medicine Man.' I know what you're thinking, "it's wrong," but it's not because Dean grew to love her over the years. He protected her as a child and was her best friend growing up. His feelings towards her were never wrong. He loved her first as a friend and eventually as more and when that happened my heart may have pitter-pattered. A lot. 🙈
I loved getting to see the two lovebirds finally give in to their feelings. Dean was resistant at first but eventually, he threw all caution to the wind and gave in to his feelings for Fallon and when he did sparks flew and I'm pretty sure my heart grew ten sizes bigger just from seeing how much they loved each other even when they didn't know they did. 😍😍
I loved getting to see them become one and don't even get me started on the moments we got to see MY Medicine Man. Simon is always so fine. 😍😍😍😍😍 I also really loved seeing Willow, Violet, Graham and so many other characters.
I read the original version of 'Guy's My Age' and loved it but I am so glad Saffron A. Kent gave us more of Dean and Fallon. I could have a whole series on these two and I would never get tired. I love them that much. 😍 Reading this extended version was really a treat. I enjoyed getting to read the new bits revolving around Dean and Fallon and also getting to revisit some of my favorite characters from 'Medicine Man' and 'Dreams of 18.'
If you haven't read 'Medicine Man,' I recommend you start there, then read 'Dreams of 18' and finally this sweet story that so many of us had been waiting for since Kent gave us 'Medicine Man.' I waited for it eagerly and can tell you the wait was SO worth it. 🙌 I loved Dean and Fallon's story and would love to get even more on these two. Sorry, not sorry. When you read it, you'll understand why I love them as much as I do. 😉
